She, we, we're a bundle of nerves before the game! She was afraid she would strike out and that the team would make fun of her--I was secretly afraid of the same thing! But I'd never tell her that! I'm nothing but supportive of her. The team was wonderful! Very welcoming to her and her friend Sophie who is getting ready to go into the first grade. They all seemed very united and they are a VERY GOOD TEAM! WOW!
Bayleigh didn't have a uniform to wear because she was a late comer to the team, but at the end of the game they gave her the extra shirt they had that was floating around. It is #3!!!! HER NUMBER SINCE SHE'S BEEN 5 YRS OLD!!!! I'd say that's a great sign that we made a great decision! Now, we just need to pray she continues to do well and more importantly-HAS FUN! :)
