7 yr well child visit

Friday, October 21st, 2011 Bayleigh had her annual well child visit. She weighs 44.5 pounds and is 42.5 inches tall. Urine sample came back perfect and she is doing great! One thing we came out with, well I had to get it at Wal-Mart, is a mouth guard. Bayleigh has been grinding her teeth at night time and Dr. Wean suggested this since her dentist won't do anything UNTIL there is damage. Dr. Wean and I agree...fix it BEFORE damage. She also got her flu shot and LAUGHED!!! She is silly! We are just happy to have a happy and healthy little girl. She is the light of our lives!

Fall Break

Bayleigh's Fall Break was this past week. Wed. the 19th, Thurs. the 20th, and Fri. the 21st. It's been FUN!
Wed, we went with Larry's dad to help him pick out carpet for his house. Found some right away. We went to lunch together too and that was very nice. He bought. ;)
Thurs, Jodi and I took Mason, Bayleigh, and Trent to the Indianapolis Children's Museum. It was FUN! It took us an hour to get thru the line to get tickets, but that was our only complaint and it taught us to purchase online next time.
Fri, I took off and Bayleigh had a well child dr. visit. I'll blog that next. Then we went to see one of my best friend's new home. GORGEOUS! I couldn't be happier for her and her beautiful family! Good things for good people--BLISS!
Here are some pics from Thurs.

This Carousel is 90 years old. My sister in laws grandparents (or was it great grandparents??) met on this carousel when it was in the park. ROMANTIC!

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Tuesday October 18th, 2011 at 6:20 we had our parent/teacher conferences with Bayleigh's teacher. We also got her report card and she got all A's and B's and S's which are good. Her teacher said she is very sweet and very smart. The only thing Bayleigh really needs to work on is reading comprehension. She does a good job, but somedays she tries to push for number of books read and then doesn't always score the full points on her AR tests. AR is accelerated reader. Her teacher also suggested some books for us to get her to read that are chapter books. She is reading chapter books now, but I am not a huge fan of them because they use words that she is not allowed to say such as stupid and they girl in the books is a little snot.
Her grades are as follows:
Reading: 99 A+, E
Language: 95 A-, E
Spelling: 96 A, E
Math: 87 B, S
Social Studies: 85 B-, S
Science: 85 B-, S
Art: 94 A-, E
Music: 95 A-, E
Physical Education: 89 B, S

Some of these grades I believe they said are graded some different and are simply given a standard letter and then that letter is automatically given a percent so we are supposed to not pay attention to the percent. Such as Physical Education and Social Studies. They are automatic S's so then that percent shows up on the column on the report card.
We are very proud of Bayleigh and after discussing with her about reading comprehension we hope and pray that we see improvement next 9 weeks. :)

GRRRR Previous POST!

I have no clue why the pictures in the post below this did what they did, but if you click on the first picture then it will pull it up and you can go thru them and see them big. Sorry.

Tuesday Crafting!

My good friend Jodi has been coming over on Tuesday evenings and we have been playing Martha Stewart. Well, not the illegal stuff, but the crafting stuff. :) One Tuesday we got the kids together and Trent too and painted while Jodi and I did glass etching. One we got together and made the lumninary jars. Then we got together another Tuesday and carved pumpkins. This is turning into my favorite day of the week! I've asked Larry to call me Martha, but he refuses. He's no fun! Here are some pictures from our various crafting days. Our Pumpkin Carving Date was Tuesday, October, 18th, 2011. IDK why these pics look so weird while composing this. Hope the load right in the blog you're reading.

Zoo Boo 10.15.11

Saturday, October the 15th, 2011 we made our annual trip to the Indianapolis Zoo for their Zoo Boo Events. This year for Halloween we have a monarch butterfly in the house. :D CUTE! The animals were all so very active this day and I think it is due to the GORGEOUS weather we had. The cheetahs were up stalking the fence row. The bear was in the water eating and playing with a meaty bone. The new baby elephant was running all over the place and was about as cute as cute can get. And the tigers were stalking the glass viewing areas which was a neat sight to see. We had so much fun!!! Here are our photos and a couple videos too!

Larry and Bayleigh are in the front car.

Pumpkin Patch

I am making serveral posts right now, so these are going to be short and sweet...
Saturday, October the 8th, 2011 we made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch at Vogt Farms. We had a terrific time and picked out some great pumpkins! We were kinda rushed due to a schedule conflict. I didn't realize that the pumpkin patch only does their festival the last weekend in September and the first two in October so when I caught that we only had Saturday the 8th to go!!! Here are some pics!

Only 4 of these were ours. :)

10.1.11 Eads Wedding

This past Saturday, October 1st, 2011--our good friends Somer (Case) and Mark Eads Jr. were married! The ceremony and reception were both GORGEOUS! Of course Somer and Mark were too. Bayleigh was asked to be the Jr. Bridesmaid and walked Trent down the aisle. SOOOO, SOOOO, SOOO Cute! I was unable to snap a BUNCH of pictures because the day was kinda busy and hectic, but the ones I did get are good. Let me share....
Meet Molly the Flower Girl in the wedding. Isn't she a DOLL?! I'm introducing her because in the following pic your gonna wonder...hey, who's the cutie with Trent and Bayleigh. Watch. LOL!
Told Ya!

Here's Somer and Donna her momma. Aren't they GORGEOUS?! YES! And that DRESS!!! STUNNING!
Here's the back of Bayleigh's dress and hair. I put it first because wait for this next pic....
Isn't she just ADORABLE! Seriously, this picture takes my breathe away! It almost reduces me to tears because my baby is growing up! I LOVE her!
Her and Trent heading down! TOO CUTE!
A close up of Bayleigh's Hair.
Now, next comes the reception pictures. There are not many of them. and lots are taken from the cell phone. The reception is some "fuzzy" to me. Let's just say, I won Rock, Paper, Scissors and didn't have to drive. Larry says I cheated to win...I might have, who was really watching anyways. LOL!
The girl to the right of Bayleigh is a friend named Leah. She was teaching her to dance because I wasn't ready at this point. LOL!
Bayleigh, Trent, and Me before my mom so graciously took them home for us.
The wedding party came into the reception wearing these masks and dancing crazy. One of the girls gave hers to Bayleigh and she wore it the whole time she was there and all of Sunday as well. Too cute!
We had so much fun and are very thankful to have been a part of Somer and Mark's big day!
