Bayleigh's first Little League Game after we got back was on Wednesday the week after we returned. I was nervous that she would be rocky because of having so much time off. She did great! She hit the ball every time she was up. She never scored, but the team did win the game. It was so cute because prior to the game after the National Anthem, Anthony Thomas--asst. coach had the girls sing Happy Birthday to the coach Marc Benson. SO CUTE! After the game the coach announced that Bayleigh had won the game ball for hitting each time she was up and for running her hardest to each base. I explained to Bayleigh that winning the game ball meant that the coach was VERY proud of her--as was mommy and daddy and she really thought she was hot stuff. :) (she is)
I am really impressed with all the girls. I look forward to going to the games being a fan. All of the teams, girls and boys are so much fun to watch. :) I am sad that the season is so close to being over. :(
