MySpace Pics
I decided to log on to my Myspace account just to check it out. It's an old school social networking site that was the it thing before Facebook. Check out some of the pics I found!
The one of Larry on the tiny bike is him teaching Bayleigh the rule of 'you've got to get back on'! She's clearly not thrilled!

Organization Who?
I don't know what has gotten in to me but every since we've taken down the Christmas decorations I've been on a reorganization spree! This is something that should've been done years ago but here it is 2013 and I'm just now doing it.
Our cabinets with our cups and glasses were bursting at the seams. I had a cabinet that had souvenir glasses that we never use and I thought, what a waste! I moved all but one shelf of them to the half of the cabinet above the refrigerator. Yip--half EMPTY! Not anymore! The kid in me can't seem to part with my never before used Disney cups. I don't really know why, but I've had them since High School and I love them. Those are now filling that empty half! That freed up two shelves in another cabinet. Those are now filled with sippy cups and kiddie cups. That ended up freeing up my other cabinet for our coffee cups and plastic cups. When I empty the dishwasher that space will be full! Sheesh!
Then our lazy Suzan's were crammed and so heavy they were hard to turn. I ended up cutting a diet coke case in half long ways creating what looks like two twelve packs. I taped them up, yes with duct tape and moved all of the canned goods into the pantry closet and organizing them into the cut boxes!
It feels better getting things organized. I thought this afternoon, if I were pregnant, which I am NOT, I would think I was nesting! Lol!
Here's some pics, and yes, those are mouse traps! I found some droppings in my cleaning!

Ending Break
As our Christmas break draws to an end we find ourselves enjoying the slow down before our schedules pick back up in a couple of weeks. We've enjoyed the snow and a few movies. We've also enjoyed just cleaning up and eating dinner at home, if you can believe both of those. It is hard to believe it's already 2013. Bayleigh graduates High School in 10 years!!! WHOA! Craziness! Here's a couple of pics. The one of B and me is us watching Pitch Perfect which we both loved! We made pallets on the floor, had pop corn and ice water. It was fun!

2013 Money Challege
My BFF texted me a money savings challenge she found on Facebook, since I'm on a Facebook break, and I think it's great! The idea is each week put the amount of money equal to that week number into savings.
Example: week 1: deposit $1, week 52: deposit $52! Simple!
I took it up a notch to help with the blows of the higher months!
I printed the chart on a 5x7 envelope. Then I added the dates of each Friday in the year. By doing this, I deposit a weekly amount and check it off each Friday. Then, cross off the Friday I paid it so I remember that I paid each week!
Example: week one that is 1.4.13 should have received only $1. I had $4 on hand so I deposited the $4, checked off week 4, but crossed off the date Jan 4th. The Fridays will help you stay in order for a weekly deposit.
Hope I explained that ok. If you have questions just leave a comment and I'll get back with you!

5 Spot Savings
I'm not one to set myself up for a failed New Years Resolution, however, I am one for making this a year of saving and no frivolous spending. I found this idea on Pinterest and I think it's great! Any time Larry or I have a $5 Bill it will go in this Envelope. AT THE END OF THE YEAR we will be allowed to take this money and buy ourselves something BIG OR use it to do something we want to do. I will try to remember to post at the end of the year how much we were able to save and what we did with the money.
I am going to try to start making shopping lists and stick to them as we'll. I am bad about impulsive buying. I need to stop! Stay tuned!
