I have started to work on getting healthy. I probably will not be blogging that here. I have a lot of personal issues going on. I have been pretty sensitive to others insensitivity and at this point I am annoyed with other people and even myself. I try not to be negative, but every now and again it really gets me and right now is one of those times...it's got me.
Financially things are really tight. The first few months of 2013 really socked it to us financially. Money always kinda gives me anxiety and I know that God will take care of us--he always does. Sometimes it is in the smallest ways, but reguardless, it makes me smile every time he does. What a blessing it is to have Him leading our lives.
We are looking forward to summer break. Bayleigh's last day of school is Monday, June 3rd, 2013. Her report card already shows she made straight A's and there is a comment that says, Promoted to 3rd Grade. Not gonna lie, it tears me up just typing that. 3rd Grade?! Already???? Our school has to go Monday instead of today being our last day due to having a snow day after our built in snow days had passed. BOOOOO! Today was supposed to be field day, but it rained most of the morning so it has been postponed until Monday. That day is such a waste! I would let her skip, but it is also award's day! OH AWARDS DAY! Let me tell you about that!!!
So, Bayleigh's entire school participated in the Physical Fitness Challenge this school year and Bayleigh scored so well in every category that she won a NATIONAL Physical Fitness Award. The teacher just happens to be my bestest friend in the entire world and so I had a little insider information that Bayleigh was the only student in her classroom to achieve this. I think she said 4 others in the other 2nd grade classroom did. It is based on 5 different challenges. She made it in one area by 2 tenths of a second!
What she got is on the left and what she needed is on the right:
Half Mile: 4:44, 4:56
Curls Ups (sit ups): 31, 29
Seconds of a Flexed Arm Hang: 19.7, 8.0
V-sit and Reach (inches from heels): +6", +2.0"
Shuttle Run Time: 12.7 seconds, 12.9 seconds
I am so proud of her for this! I'll be sure to post pictures of her with her certificate!
Ok, that's it for now. It's getting late and I am getting tired. Hope this blog finds you well. Until next post!
