Elf on the Shelf Day 1:
Santa sent us The Elf on the Shelf just after Christmas last year. ;)
He sent Bayleigh a letter and she named him Roger.
Tonight, Black Friday, November 23rd, 2012, Bayleigh is asleep and Roger made his way to the table. She will wake to find him there tomorrow. These next several blogs will be pictures of Roger and all the mischievous things I'm sure he will do until Christmas! ENJOY!!!

8th Birthday!
Yesterday, being Bayleigh's birthday, after her 2 volleyball games, we drove over to Franklin Pizza King and had dinner with Rachel, Eric, Max, Mom, and Tony. The whole day, like the rest of our schedule, was rush, rush, rush. It was so nice getting to sit down to dinner and just visit. When we talked to Bayleigh about funds being low and time for a party being low, she agreed that doing this would be just fine. She is so wonderful! Here are some pics of her evening!

8 YEARS ALREADY!
On this day, back in 2004, Sunday, November 14th to be exact, my life was forever changed! I had been in the hospital for almost 24 hours and very anxiously awaiting the birth of my beautiful daughter! When I went in on the 13th I knew I didn't want to have a baby on the 13th. Dr. Stiller told me that if that was the case I needed to hope for a long labor and that is exactly what I got! LOL!
Around 3 am on the 14th Dr. Stiller came in again and informed me that I wasn't progessing enough after 19 1/2 hours of labor and told me I needed a C-Section. UMMMMM, NOOOOO! That scared me to pieces, but I had to do what was best for the baby. SO, off we went to the surgery room. I was strapped to the table and the blue sheet went up. I was TERRIFIED! Larry had left to get scrubbed in and I was so scared they'd start without him. In he came and then they started. Burning, Slicing, Tugging, Pulling, Ripping me a part so that they could get to that precious gift inside. At exactly 5:45 am they pulled Bayleigh, a 6 lb. 14.9 oz 19 in long, perfect, healthy little baby from my belly and our lives were instantly changed.
I never in my wildest dreams could have imagined the dept of love. True, Unconditional, LOVE! It was love at first sight too. I couldn't wait to hold her! Of course they had to get her cleaned up and me put back together, but just before 6:30 am they put her in my arms as they wheeled me in my bed back to my room. I couldn't stop crying. I was overwhelmed with every emotion possible. Larry went out to tell the family that awaited and he even broke down into tears as well. It wasn't long--even the family hadn't made it to my room before her temp dropped and she needed to go to the nursery for warmth. I insisted that Larry take the camera and go. I was so exhausted, scared, and sad. I never wanted her to leave my arms. It wasn't long though until she was back!!! :)
Bayleigh,
I want you know that you are by far the greatest blessing God has ever given to me and your daddy. Our love only continues to grow for you each and every single day. You are smart, and kind, and funny, and sweet! You are more than we could have ever imagined one human being to be. You ARE the LOVE of OUR LIVES! I hope and pray that you never forget that. You have such a long and beautiful life ahead of you and I am so thankful to be your mommy and friend (best). You are our everything and we LOVE YOU!
